ECIL Announces 437 ITI Apprentice Vacancies – Apply by September 29
Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Hyderabad, has issued a notification for the recruitment of 437 Trade Apprentice vacancies. The apprenticeships will be offered for a duration of one year under various trades. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria, particularly those who have completed their ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in the relevant trades, are encouraged to apply. The application process is completely online, and the last date to apply is September 29, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must have passed ITI in the trade relevant to the vacancy they are applying for. The age criteria for applicants is set between 18 and 25 years as of October 31, 2024. However, age relaxations are available for certain categories:
- OBC candidates are eligible for a 3-year relaxation.
- SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) are entitled to a 10-year relaxation.
It is important for candidates to ensure they meet these criteria before applying, as any discrepancies could result in disqualification during the selection process.
Selection Process
The selection process will be primarily based on the marks obtained in ITI. Additionally, the Rule of Reservation will be followed to ensure fair and equitable representation across different social categories. There will be no written test or interview for this recruitment. The final list of selected candidates will be prepared based on ITI marks and the reservation rules.

The selected candidates will begin their apprenticeship training from November 1, 2024. Once the initial selection is made, document verification will be conducted at the Electronics Corporation of India Limited, Corporate Learning and Development Centre, located at Nalanda Complex, TISR Road, ECIL, Hyderabad.
