Ayushman card through mobile app
According to the central government, senior citizens do not need to visit any office for Ayushman card. Only some important papers are required. Ayushman card can be availed through mobile app. In this regard, the government will also issue orders within a week. The government has also launched a campaign in this regard. With the help of Aadhaar card, senior citizens can get Ayushman card made through mobile app. After getting this card, one can get free treatment for many serious diseases in any hospital. So far, government figures on the Ayushman Bharat scheme show that 34.7 crore people in the country have received Ayushman cards till June 30, 2024.
Make a new card for the elderly
If there are any senior citizens in the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the central government has said that now a new card will be made specifically for the senior citizens. A new registration is also required for this. After generating the card, senior citizens can get free treatment up to Rs.5 lakh in any hospital. Senior citizens aged 70 years or above who are availing the benefits of central government health schemes can also opt for an Ayushman card under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the central government said. Anyone aged 70 years or above who has private health insurance can also enroll under this scheme.

States where Ayushman Scheme is not implemented
