Students who have completed 10th standard or intermediate or diploma in the academic years 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24 are eligible for this scholarship. They should have secured at least 60 percent marks from any recognized educational institution (LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024).
Whether you want to pursue a diploma in medicine, graduation, engineering, or any discipline, do vocation courses, study ITI, this cash assurance scheme is provided. One can apply for this scheme online through the official website of LIC.. www.licindia.in. The application process started from December 8 (Sunday). The last date to apply for this scheme is December 22. A special girl child scholarship is also given through this scheme. This scholarship is offered for two years.
In order to get scholarship under this scheme, the annual income of the parents of the student should be less than 2.5 lakhs. Students receiving scholarship from other trusts and organizations are not eligible for this scheme. Also, this scheme is not applicable to those studying through part-time classes and Open University. Students studying medicine who qualify for this scheme will get a scholarship of Rs.40 thousand.
