RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: With PUC qualification, you can get a chance to get a job at the center at a young age. Indian Railways is providing a suitable platform for this. RRB has issued a notification to fill up 3693 posts in Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC). To this extent, Railway Recruitment Board has invited applications to fill up the posts. Pass the exam but get job easily. Recently RRB released advertisements for various educational qualifications like ITI, Inter, Graduation etc.
Also, the deadline for applying for these posts has been extended. Exam Pattern and Syllabus are same for NTPC Inter and Graduate Posts. Holders of this degree can compete for both. Examinations are conducted separately. Questions for intermediate posts are slightly less tough as compared to graduation. However, recently there has been a huge competition for these posts. The main reason is that those with graduation and PG qualifications are also competing for this.
Those who are already preparing for Banks, SSC, Railway jobs can clear these exams easily. Kannada medium can also be chosen for the exam. Candidates can contest only for the vacancies in one RRB.
Posts: Commercial cum Ticket Clerk-2022, Junior Clerk cum Typist-990, Accounts Clerk cum Typist-361, Trains Clerk-72 with NTPC Intermediate qualification. 248 posts are reserved for disabled persons. Among these, Commercial Clerk cum Ticket Clerk posts pay Level-3 pay. They will get a basic salary of Rs.21,700. 40 thousand rupees from the first month itself. Will get salary. Remaining level – 2 posts will be paid Rs.19,900 basic pay. 36 thousand rupees from the first month together. Salary will be available.
Selection is as follows: Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted in two stages for all posts. Proficiency in these is essential. Typing skill test is conducted for the posts of Accounts Clerk and Junior Clerk. Then verification of certificates and medical examination will be conducted.
Phase-1 will have total 100 questions. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. There will be 40 questions from General Awareness, 30 from Mathematics and 30 from General Intelligence and Reasoning.
Among those who qualify in Phase-1, 15 times will be selected for Phase-2 based on merit for category wise vacancies. Level-2 will have 120 questions. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. One mark for each question. There will be 50 questions from General Awareness, 35 from Mathematics and 35 from General Intelligence and Reasoning.
Eligibility: Unreserved, EWS 40, OBC NCL, SC 30, ST 25 percent marks in Stage-1, Stage-2 conducted by RRB. In case of PWDs, an additional 2 percent exemption is available according to their category.
1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in both stages. Typing skill test will be conducted for 8 category wise vacancies from the merit list in Stage-2 for those who compete for typist competitions. It is enough if they qualify. Type 30 words per minute in English.
Important Details : Eligibility for NTPC posts announced by RRB is Intermediate or equivalent. Should be between 18 to 33 years as on January 1, 2025. Maximum age relaxation is 5 years for SC and ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 to 15 years for PwD depending on the age limit.

Application Fee: Only Rs 250 for Women, SC, ST, Transgender, EBC. Scheduled If they appear for CBT, they have to pay the rest of the fees apart from the bank charges. 500 fee for other categories. If they appear for CBT, Rs 400 excluding bank charges. s have to be paid.

Note: Last date to apply for RRB NTPC Graduate Posts has been extended till 20th October. You can compete for these with graduation qualification. 13,206 Grade-3 Technician posts with ITI or Apprentice qualification can be applied by October 16.
