Indian Railways recently released a notification inviting applications for 9,144 Technician Posts. Later it issued an amendment notification to fill up 5154 Technician Grade 3 posts in some other workshops and divisions. In this background, the schedule has now been released for applying online.
In this background, the central government job aspirants of the Railway Department can participate in the recruitment process of a total of 14,298 technicians. Initially, the Railway Department intended to fill up 9,144 Technician (Grade 1, 3) posts in only about 18 categories, due to the demand for technician posts in additional 22 categories from many workshops and divisions, now it has decided to fill up 14,298 posts in 40 categories. Those who have not applied earlier can now apply online for total 14,298 posts.

Newly applying candidates and already applied candidates are allowed to choose any category of posts out of 40 category posts.
For 2-40 category posts, RRB and post priority change, qualification / photograph fresh upload / signature re-upload is allowed.

Eligibility for Railway Technician Posts
Technician Grade-1 Signal : For these posts B.Sc / Diploma / Engineering must be passed.
Technician Grade-3: Must have passed ITI along with Matriculation. Must have NCVT / SCVT certificate.

How to Apply for Railway Technician Posts
– Karnataka candidates visit the website address https://www.rrbbnc.gov.in/.
– There will be a revised English, Hindi notification in front of ‘CEN 02/2024 – Technician Categories Detailed CEN NEW’ on the open website home page. Click to read.
– Below this click on ‘Click to Submit Online Application’. Another webpage will open.
– Click on ‘Apply’ on this webpage.
– Click on ‘Create An Account’ from the displayed options.
– Provide the requested information. Create an account.
– Then further more personal information, educational information, reservation information and documents will be asked.
– Upload typescript and soft copy of documents. Apply
– Pay the application fee online.
– Take a print of the completed application for further reference.
Information required to create an account for railway job application, documents
name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth record, gender information, Aadhaar card, email address, mobile number, OTP for these.
After creating the account, login again and apply by giving qualification, reservation, personal details.
Rs.500 for general qualification and OBC candidates. Rs.400 will be withdrawn.
Rs.250 for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Post wise Basic Pay
Technician Grade-1 Signal : Rs.29200.
Technician Grade-3 : Rs.19900.
